Last night of Awana....such a great year!

We celebrated Mike turning 26! Sloane was a little birthday monster! She was way more excited than Mike...she had everything planned out. We went birthday shopping (she picked out a golf polo), got cupcakes, and BBQ. We love this guy so much!

Sad girl when we found out cold stone wasn't open yet, haha. |
We had a chance to go on a date for Mike's birthday thanks to some wonderful church friends! It had seriously been forever! We went downtown to a fun pizza/wing place that Mike had been to. It was a lot of fun...we didn't realize that there was a 5k glow run going on down the same street too. It was a fun atmosphere watching the runners as well. We finished the night by getting a coffee and then running through rain to get back to our pilot, haha! It was perfect!
Mike had to travel to Tampa, Fl for week training for his new position. The kids and I survived thanks to my sister coming to help for a day. It is not easy doing it all alone! The pic below is us waiting at the airport to see daddy fly in!
Mike and the kids were so sweet on Mother's day this year. We went out to eat the night before and took the kids to play some games. It was so fun...sometimes you just need to let lose and be a kid along with them!

So fun to remember the moments of first meeting my little ones! So incredibly blessed! |
On Sunday, we went to church which was great! Sloane made some adorable mother's day crafts. Mike grilled steak and chicken kabobs for lunch. So fun and so much work! haha
